Recently I began reading and studying the Bible very differently than I ever have before. For years I have read the Bible regularly and for the past several years I have recorded thoughts and questions from what I am reading. Recently I have begun to do something a little different. Instead of plowing through a book of the Bible or several chapters I started reading and rereading a passage or book over and over again for several days at a time. It has amazed me how much more depth there is to what I am reading. The thrid and fourth time through I am seeing things I never saw before or phrases and thoughts that seem stronger that I kind of glazed over the first few times through. This has led me to some good growth in my faith and so I want to share it with you.
I will be posting what I get from what I am reading in the Bible as often as I can. I will also be posting any thoughts or themes that God brings up in my heart and mind. So, for those of you who are interested here we go. Feel free to comment. I am still trying to figure out how this blogging thing works, so if I don't respond back it might be because I am more like a gorilla than a tech when it comes to computers.
